Smile Big for the Camera

We had Family Pictures taken and we think they turned out great. Except, for you know a photo shoot has gone bad when you find only ONE family picture that the kids are smiling in. Okay, so I guess it could have been worse but this picture is a perfect example of what Alexis would do when the Photographer tried to make her smile. It was pretty funny at first.

She is just Staring, no sudden movements... Nothing.

Me and My Daddy. I love this one.

Well when she saw faces she new she was all smiles. We are so blessed to have such a sweet little one in our lives.

On another Note. Christmas was great and we enjoyed having Talmadge out of school and home more often only for a few weeks though. I'm sure he has taken in every moment too. We just stayed home for the Holidays in Utah and am really wishing we could have made it to AZ cause this SNOW is killing me. Well Thanks for all the sweet gifts that were sent to us and we hope you all had a wonderful Christmas,
and
We Hope Everyone has a Great New Year.

Family and Thanksgiving

We were able to go to North Carolina for the first time this past Thanksgiving. What a treat it was to spend time with the family and really see the great blessings God has given us.

We were having to much fun that we forgot the camera most of the time but I have to get the rest from Chelsea. This picture was of Papa swinging Alexis and she so much is enjoying it. Dad Built this swing that converts to a baby swing then to a adult swing. Thanks Dad for climbing the Tree just so we could have a good time.

Halloween

It was a fun night we had some friends over and played games since Talmadge thinks I am a little to old to go Trick or Treating, oh but until next year when Alexis is old enough to eat candy. I will have an excuse to go out, and to make sure she picks the BEST candies.

So Alexis was a Ballerina ,Talmadge was a sniper, and I was a Baseball Player

Isn't that uncomfortable?

Our sweet baby girl, is always getting herself into seemingly uncomfortable positions. I'm not sure why but as you see she is asleep so it can't be to bad.( to her anyway)
She gets playing to hard and just falls asleep.

For all those that are wondering, I didn't leave her like that, but I had to get a pic and laugh just a little bit.

Now this was just so funny. I just looked over and she is like uh is someone going to help me. She had her arm stuck but wasn't even struggling. Babies are just so flexible I guess.

We just love our baby girl.

A little Update.

So Alexis is 5 months Now. I'm so sorry for not posting in awhile. I really will try and do better. Well she weighs about 13 lbs, and just loves to cover as much carpet as she can. Yep that's right she is mobile, but the only way this little girl is getting around is rolling as fast as she can to keep her momentum going. Another fun thing is she is chewing on everything! Anything she can roll into or that gets in her path, her mouth is on it. Along with this chewing sensation, came her first tooth. I was so excited to see it there. I will post pictures soon.

So all of you who said that she looks like Talmadge, when I look at this picture I totally AGREE!
She looks just like him. I am so glad she got her daddy's genes cause she sure is a cutie.

Three Months and Lovin it

We got a good video of Alexis laughing. It was so amazing to hear that little one laugh. Sorry the video quality is not so good, I got it with my phone. Well everything is great and we just love the joy of her personality. Hope you enjoy it too.

Me and Mommy!

Its Mommy and baby Alexis time, pretty much all day everyday while Daddy works hard for us. We love the time we get to spend together. It usually starts out about 5 or 6 am with Alexis fussing, so I pull her in to bed with me. We sleep for a while longer until its time to eat. I would say then we just do what all girls do. Have FUN! Sometimes we clean, other times we shop, or just whatever needs to be done that day. Then Daddy comes home, Alexis loves her daddy. She will talk for hours for him. And he doesn't mind. All in all, I just love mommy-hood. My sweet family is all I need.

The other day when my friend was over we painted Alexis's toe nails. Then we put a little flower on each of her big toes. It was pretty difficult since babies don't stay still and the brush was bigger than her toes. Oh, but Little girls are so fun.

Look at me GROW!

Alexis just went to her 2months Dr appointment.

She now weighs 9lbs. 5oz. and is 21 inches long

She is so fun to have around. She is starting to coo and smile a lot. (that's our favorite)

As you can tell she needs her space while sleeping. She was pretty excited when she found out that there was a lot more space than in mommy's tummy.

What could be better than the green hills of Missouri..

It all started on the 18 hour drive toward our home land. We stopped and stayed the night in Wyoming. We arrived in Missouri the next day.

We were so excited to see the little Callie Grace. I think they look so much alike. I can tell they are going to be best buds, just like their Mommies.

We also went to Hannibal, MO. Home of Samuel Clemens.(aka Mark Twain) It was the very first time our whole little family had been a float the Mississippi River. We loved it.

Thanks to Tessa and Tal Jr. for showing us around.

BLESSING DAY!

Alexis did so well she didn't cry or poop on her dress. Those were the two things I was a little scared of. We are so happy to have a wonderful Daddy that could give her a name and a blessing, and the greatest and only way to do that is through the power of the Priesthood.

We are so happy to have been there with our family.

What was really special was that it was fathers day. That was a sure treat to have all our dads there. Especially, our New Daddy.

Thanks to my Nita Bonita and your Beautiful family for all the great times we had. A shout out to you, you are such an example to me and I will always Love you. P.S I miss you so much.

Do you think they look alike? I think they kinda do. Except for the major difference of hair. It seems that Callie is not having any problems with Hair growth. Alexis on the other hand, will it seems as though she is handing her hair over to Callie. She keeps balding.

Thanks Papa and Grandma Sandy for making some good ol' cooking. You really should open a restaurant. Haha. We had so much fun.

We enjoyed our time with the Henderson Family. Thanks for giving us such good time.

Alexis is so lucky to have such a wonderful family (she missed those that could not come and hopes to see you soon). Thanks for the Pal John Family for coming to spend time with her.

Alexis slept pretty well in the arms of her Papa. Thanks Dad. We miss everyone so much, and can't wait to visit again.

A life Changed in Seconds
Daddy does love his little girl, and no matter what he says she loves her Daddy too. I'm starting to think she looks more like him than she does me.

Thanks to all those that gave their time, and efforts to welcome little Alexis. Thanks to Aunt Chelsea and Aunt Kaitlin for picking out such cute outfits. We could not be more grateful for such a wonderful Family. Thanks uncle Jared and Grandma Val for coming to help out. We can't to see the rest of the Fam soon!
This picture reminds me of a Gangster, so yep we have a little G-UNIT in the house.

Our Great Bundle of Joy
Alexis Brielle was born on May 12th. She weighed 6 lbs. 9 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long. I couldn't help but cry the minute I saw her. She is so beautiful, and we are so glad that we get to be her parents. All though she might regret it, cause we are kind of weird. I pushed for about an hour and half but soon after she came without me having to push at all. The contractions did the work. I just wish they had done more of the work. HA

I TRIED BEING CREATIVE FOR ONCE

I was watching some good ol' HGTV and saw some pillows they had and really liked them. I originally had red and brown pillows but I decided it was time for a change. SO.. I sewed all my pillows by hand with new Fabric. Although I like it, it took way to long. I really want a sewing machine. So now my pillows are plum and green. I see now that I really appreciate my things when I have made them myself, I think I might keep trying to think of new ideas with this new so called "creative" wave that I have going on.

AlLmoSt ThEre!

I am about 35 Weeks, only a month and half to GO!

We are so EXCITED for our sweet little girl to come.

LoVe iS In tHe AiR
Valentines Day is always a special one for everyone around. Especially in the Henderson Home. I didn't really know what to expect since last Valintines was way out of my World. Talmadge didn't seem to let me down though-as always-! Instead of like the millions of men that buy their lovers Roses he MADE me a dozen Origami Roses. That way these don't die. Yeah for me.

I think they look so real! Thanks Honey, I love you.
7 Months And Counting! I'm so BIG.
