Me and Mommy!

Its Mommy and baby Alexis time, pretty much all day everyday while Daddy works hard for us. We love the time we get to spend together. It usually starts out about 5 or 6 am with Alexis fussing, so I pull her in to bed with me. We sleep for a while longer until its time to eat. I would say then we just do what all girls do. Have FUN! Sometimes we clean, other times we shop, or just whatever needs to be done that day. Then Daddy comes home, Alexis loves her daddy. She will talk for hours for him. And he doesn't mind. All in all, I just love mommy-hood. My sweet family is all I need.

The other day when my friend was over we painted Alexis's toe nails. Then we put a little flower on each of her big toes. It was pretty difficult since babies don't stay still and the brush was bigger than her toes. Oh, but Little girls are so fun.

Look at me GROW!

Alexis just went to her 2months Dr appointment.

She now weighs 9lbs. 5oz. and is 21 inches long

She is so fun to have around. She is starting to coo and smile a lot. (that's our favorite)

As you can tell she needs her space while sleeping. She was pretty excited when she found out that there was a lot more space than in mommy's tummy.

What could be better than the green hills of Missouri..

It all started on the 18 hour drive toward our home land. We stopped and stayed the night in Wyoming. We arrived in Missouri the next day.

We were so excited to see the little Callie Grace. I think they look so much alike. I can tell they are going to be best buds, just like their Mommies.

We also went to Hannibal, MO. Home of Samuel Clemens.(aka Mark Twain) It was the very first time our whole little family had been a float the Mississippi River. We loved it.

Thanks to Tessa and Tal Jr. for showing us around.

BLESSING DAY!

Alexis did so well she didn't cry or poop on her dress. Those were the two things I was a little scared of. We are so happy to have a wonderful Daddy that could give her a name and a blessing, and the greatest and only way to do that is through the power of the Priesthood.

We are so happy to have been there with our family.

What was really special was that it was fathers day. That was a sure treat to have all our dads there. Especially, our New Daddy.

Thanks to my Nita Bonita and your Beautiful family for all the great times we had. A shout out to you, you are such an example to me and I will always Love you. P.S I miss you so much.

Do you think they look alike? I think they kinda do. Except for the major difference of hair. It seems that Callie is not having any problems with Hair growth. Alexis on the other hand, will it seems as though she is handing her hair over to Callie. She keeps balding.

Thanks Papa and Grandma Sandy for making some good ol' cooking. You really should open a restaurant. Haha. We had so much fun.

We enjoyed our time with the Henderson Family. Thanks for giving us such good time.

Alexis is so lucky to have such a wonderful family (she missed those that could not come and hopes to see you soon). Thanks for the Pal John Family for coming to spend time with her.

Alexis slept pretty well in the arms of her Papa. Thanks Dad. We miss everyone so much, and can't wait to visit again.
